Default JDM Headlight Scatter....

I have a JDM front end on my CRX and have the plastic JDM headlights. The light output of the lights suck! Is there anything I can do to make the headlights better? I heard the EDM glass lights are a lil better with the light scatter and use a H4 bulb instead of the H4H bulbs that my JDM ones use.

Whats the difference in the H4 and the H4H? I know the H4H bulbs are both high and low headlights in one bulb. Is the H4 a single light?

Is there anything I can do to help the scatter of my JDM lights?

I hope someone has a simple solution!

Thanks

Matt

I didn't waste any time selling off my plastic jdm lights and paying a little extra for the EDM glass versions that use a regular H4 bulb. Here's a couple shots

Also, i bonus in my eyes, they use actual H4 bulbs instead of the goofy h4h found in the jdm version.

I have the edm ones as well, The ones I have are also power adjustable. They have a very clear cut off. I actually had a hi/low hid pnp in and had great cutoff with no scatter with them. The standards for scatter are much stricter in europe.

Many many people on here are driving around with headlights they got from me.

I happen to have a set for sale if you're interested.
They are even power adjustable.

Check my sig for info on the sale.

Follow this link to read my headlight explanatory guide.

I noticed a bit of difference between the JDM and EDM lights...but it was negligible. Running a slight better then stock bulb (silverstars) helped. but most of the improvement came with headlight adjustment... I live out in the desert and it gets real dark in some places... The EDM headlights with decent bulbs and correct adjustment were fine. Not great (what can you expect?) but very useable.
