Ok folks, so i got a greddy header for my H22 and i was reading a few posts about installing them. Alot of people said that you should not get your hand prints or finger prints on the header due to the oils on our hands...My question is what kind of gloves should I use to install the header? Latex gloves or gardening gloves

 

Just make sure you clean it before you start the engine. I used brake-clean and mine is fine.

 

Yeah just clean it before you turn car on. I use latex gloves for everything, but they left white powder substance all over the header. I used windex to clean, very nice.

 

Rubbing alcohol to clean the header off. Use latex gloves too.

Can i ask what the oils from your hands due to the header??? JW

 

if you dont wipe the grease off, it will stain the header.
