i put the motor back in an it started fine. i missed a vac line so it reved out. i turned it off an fixed the vac leak. I tried starting it again an i heard like cracking sound..soft like under the hood.like a spark. the car wont start. I cant get it to start. I tried going from the battery to the starter an it wont move. ive had a few issues with the battery cable..not to sure if that the problem. any ideas.

 

also when i jump the starter the alt makes noises. like a click

 

does this sound like a bad starter?

i hooked up a another batter directly to the starter an all it does is click. does sound like its starting at all. would it be bad to yank it out

had the same problem but it was a ground issue.... try cleanning all the connectors and all that.... test the starter with a volt gauge and see if its getting the power it should be.

 

i fixed the starting problem but now it revs to the moon. got any ideas. i check the IM not leaks. i even took the top part of the mani off. all good.

 

its a 2001 prelude turbo for your info

 

anyone. it just revs up i high. i cant figure it out for the life of me.
