Default new head gasket question

i'm planning to get a new cometic head gasket for my h22a1 motor but i'm not sure what thickness i should get. i know there is a lot of post out there about this but i need help specifically for my setup. here is my setup:
both h22a1 block and head
89mm, 12.0:1 cr wiseco piston (benson sleeves)
h23 crankshaft w/ h23 crower maxi-light rods
skunk2 stage 2 pro series camshaft
skunk2 hich comp valves

i'm aiming for mild street driving and mild drag and auto-cross. suggestions will be appreciated. thanks.

If you are trying to stay around the same comp. With your set up I reccomend .00040. That should be perfect. Good luck

Thats less than 1/2 a thousandth of an inch. I'm not bashing anyone here either. Any head gasket you choose will get the job done. what you really want to be careful of is has the head been surfaced? and has the block been decked?. Even still a off the shelf head gasket will get the job done unless your running a big nasty cam, then you may have some clearance issues and will want to go with a stackable head gasket of some sort. By stackable I mean that these gaskets can actually be added to or subtracted from to get the proper tolerance for your set-up. You, being the person that built the engine are the only one that can make this decision however. I would suggest a Mr. Gasket Co. part, I've used these religiously on my open deck port nitrous D16Z6 and have never had a problem w/ one. Call Mr. Gasket directly and tell them your situation I think you'll find that they are the most knowledgeable and will be able to give you a PN.

BTW I think he means .040 or forty thousandths of an inch which would be right more than likely.
