CB360T project
Not alot of pictures right now, but enough to get the point across...

Here you can see the rear set pegs, and cafe style seat cowl. The seat will be covered in black vinyl forward of the hump, and will be shortened once I get the swing arm and back tire on. The 'rear-sets' are actually the stock passenger pegs, but I built some levers that will work with them for the brakes and shifter. I'll get some detail pics of those once everything is together. I need to find a taillight that I like.

Shaved the badges off the tank, and looking for some old-school Honda decals to replace them.

I found some vintage 36mm clip-on's for it, and replaced the controls with generic switchless parts to clean up the bars. No more turn signals or mirrors. I still need to find a CL60 front wheel to ditch the disc brake, the master cylinder uglied up the bars.

I'm hoping it will look something like this when it is done, with the exhaust routed under the engine. I may try to fit a muffler instead of fabricating a lower cowl.

Another shot, and a quick drawing of my buddies 81 CB650.

I bought mine completely original with 9k miles, non-running but otherwise like 7/10 condition for $250. I have less than $800 total in it now, and about 60-70 hours of time.
If I were to sell it once I'm done I'd probably ask $2000, and expect to get at least $1800.
The CB650 has 25k, a minor oil leak, but runs & drives great. My friend payed $750 for it 3 weeks ago and has put almost 2,000 miles on it since.

Looks fun!
You know these projects, and indeed any restoration, come off better if you make all you modifications rebuilds prior to doing a final build up. Assemble the rebuilt bike/car, tour it around and make sure everything is good, then disassemble and restore to final condition.
So it's..
tear down
rebuild
reassemble
modify
disassemble
restore
reassemble
smile

weld on the rearsets, cut down the seat, make seat brackets, and paint the frame. Then it is ready for final assembly.

yeah, that's why the frame is still in primer. the rear wheel won't fit on while it is on my stand there though, so final build will have to be on the ground.

I wish I had the garage space for one!
