I would like to know what you guys think on this subject. I know the key to a long lasting car is sticking with oem parts, but most of the times they are so expensive that we have no other choice than to buy aftermarket. For example my ac compressor had to be replaced, honda was charging me $745 while the local auto part was charging $365. I got the part on ebay for $250 and it is working perfectly for a while now. THings like transmission fluid I don't even think about getting any place else other honda, ut other parts are just to expensive.

it really depends what it is, but even though I get a discount at the dealer its sometiems still way more expensive than aftermarket
