Tokyo Motor Show Motorcycle Pics

I'm in Tokyo right now for the Tokyo Motor Show and for your viewing pleasure I took a good number of pics of all of the bikes there. I know these were posted here before but I'd like to hear what everyone thinks given that I'm not sure that these bikes are coming to the US. I figure if American Honda doesn't plan on bringing them yet, if they get a strong positive response here they'll change their mind. In particular I'm thinking the CB1100R could do really, really well here.

Next time I do a show I need to have a more disciplined approach to taking pics because I definitely didn't take as many of certain models as I thought I did (or should have). Here are all of the other moto pics:

nice article... I am not really sure that is an 1100 is it? but if it is I'm all over that sucker
a couple of things, Honda was not the first nor the biggest/best cafe(half/quarter) fairing bike when they were popular in the late seventies and early eighties. You may not have been trying to say this but it sounds like Honda had an exclusion to this market/style when fact they were way behind in that niche and were somewhat reluctant to join that segment, as it was suzuki's GS1000s and Kawasaki's Z1-R that lead the way for the japanese sportbike/race bike cross over... And the japanese will not be enjoying the 1.1 liters as cc restriction is limited to 400cc for most of the japanese riders(unless thats been changed)

Japan has a tiered licensure system based on the displacment of the bike engine. Therefore, as long as the rider has the correct credentials, I can't see any reason why they couldn't buy a 1100 cc bike.
Now, if Honda will release the model in Japan is a different story. But the point is, the availibility of a 1100cc bike would be based on a corporate decision and not restricted by law.

Ah ok, what confused me is "restriction is limited to 400cc for most of the japanese riders" because if you have a license to ride a 400cc bike, you can ride any cc bike. License classes are as follows:
50cc
51-125cc
126-250cc
400cc+

Nah I wasn't saying that at all, I was just saying they were emulating the bikes that they made back in the day.

Really there aren't that many big bikes on the road here period. I saw all of maybe 4 or 5 supersports on the road the whole week I've been here. So maybe you're right, maybe this isn't for the Japanese market. If we do get it I kind of doubt it will be for 2008 though.

I don't know if anyone noticed this but I thought it was ******* cool. A totally motorized motorcycle lift and load system. I feel like I've seen one somewhere else before though. I have to wonder how much it would cost to your truck or van aftermarket.
It was kinda funny, when the girl was demonstrating it she made all kinds of hand motions to show it off. Like one of the girls from the Price is Right or something.
