Default alternator harness wire location

I just finished changing the alternator on my 93 civic and after I put everything back together I noticed a white/red wire with a black rubber over it coming from the alternator harness. The other two things coming from the harness are the green alternator plug and white power cable for the alternator. Anyone know where this extra wire might go? I will try and get some pics tmrw.

That black rubber plug should go behind the block. Look around that area around where your oil filter is located. You should see a thin nipple coming out.
