Default dont buy from inlinefour - bad customer service

inlinefour sold me an intake that was for a sohc but i have a dohc.
i tried to exchange it and i was willing to pay the difference but they wouldnt let me and they were claiming that thats the way intakes were made blah blah blah

and i know for a fact it doesnt fit cause i tried putting on my car and it fits weird and the intake pipe goes inside my t/b
we also put it on my friends car with a sohc motor and fit perfectly .

im never going back there again, and i shouldve known better cause everyone else says bad stuff about them. theyre too pricey.
all those cats are too shady.
looks like im going back to pitcrew and jdmhondaparts

That sucks, I get all my ish at inline four and have never had a problem with the service. I still give Inline a Atleast compared to all the other shops I've been to.

WORD! i couldn't agree with you more dude..avoid inlinefour.com like the plague!!!! last october i ordered an iceman intake from those guys..it's took over a month to get to me after i ordered..then when i actually did my swap and tried the intake it wouldn't fit..they guy who "helped" me was dead wrong..and email after email and phone call after phone call got me nowhere. they're fine IF you get what you ordered, but if there's ever a problem, where other places shine, inlinefour just plain SUCKS.

yeah well this is not the first time ive had an incident like this with them.
ive actually been very tolerant of them and have dealt with their bull for a while already.
i constantly hear bad **** about them. and i bet all you ppl that say positive bullshit about them has only dealt with them once or twice.
oh well it doesnt matter im not gonna invest my money with them and i dont think other ppl should too.
theres CHEAPER and BETTER places like ipsracing, jdmhondaparts, and id rather deal with island motorsports
haha oh well

i have had PLENTY of bad experiences with them as well. i was very tolerant with the first few mishaps but, my patience began to wear thin. EVERY part they sent me was opened and even the project mu brake pads they sent me were used. i was told they were "test fitted" because of all the scratches on the backplate.

and they sent me the wrong pads for a SIR front suspension setup that THEY sold me

haha you must be local... i live straight down the street from island..they are off orangethorpe and i live off south street (south is orangethorpe in LA county, orangethorpe is south street in orange county) haha

and i dont believe id purchase from any shop... unless i know them personally or my friend knows the owners personally

I have ordered a steering wheel, hub and my JDM Integra badge from them, lowest price I found on those items and they got all my stuff right and shipped out very fast...never had a problem with them and they will still get my business

Inline four is just a block away from where I live. The stuff they carry are excellent, but the price is STEEP! I bought some JE pistons and wanted to return it 2 days later and they wanted to charge me 25% restocking fee. Those pistons were $650 plus tax, 25% of about 700 god damn near $200! They have everything ...it will cost you an arm and two *****!

from my dealings with them they are just very unprofessional..the guy who took my intial order accidentally hung up on me, and i had to call back LONG DISTANCE. not that i couldn't afford it..it's just they are lacking in the customer service areas..my 2 cents.

my friend ordered skunk coilovers from them

skunk messed up and put three rear springs and 1 front

inline four said they will try to get them to send one, and its not their fault(understandable) and he keeps calling them and they say they havent got them yet. This has been going on for over a month

im not gonna order from them from now on.
