have fuel & spark but car doesnt want to start, please help, i gots to go to work
after waiting for a train to pass i tried to take off & my engine started sputtering really bad, it didnt let me go over 1200k until it just chocked up & shut off. after towing it home i checked for spark, fuel pump buzz, relay click, & its all functioning. now it just cranks & backfires out the muffler a bit but doesnt start. please help, im going to start work on saturday & i need the car runing. any input is appreciated

it sounds like a distributor problem but you said it has spark..maybe try a friends dizzy? my car did the same thing and it was the dizzy

ya check the dizzy just cause you have spark doesnt mean your firing in the correct order you could have a bad tdc sensor in the dizzy

I am dizzy with all of this dizzy talk of dizzy's. It just makes me ****** dizzy!
