Default camshaft?

i was looking into skunk2 camshaft tuner stage2 and i was just wondering if the camshafts come all ready degreed or do you have to degree them before you put them in. helping a friend build an engine up and i was just wondering. he has his engine already in his car and wanted to know if he can get the camshafts and just put them in. he knows he has to get it dyno tuned, valvtrain must be built up. he just wanted to see if he bought the camshafts if he could just put them in the car because he was looking at how to degree the camshafts and he says he needs a degree wheel and he needs to pull the engine out to do all these things and i just wanted to see for him if he can just put the camshafts in and same the trouble of pulling out the engine or if there is a way to (if needed) to degree the camshafts with out pulling the engine out. just wanted to see what to do.

No, he doesn't need to degree the cams. Just leave the adjustable sprockets set to 0,0 until he's at the dyno, then he can make adjustments to them to determine the optimal settings.

another quick question from my friend he was wondering if there is something else you can do inside of getting it dyno tuned? the reason for this is in my town im not sure where the closes dyno is. his going to try and find one but he wanted to know if there is something else he can do or would it hurt the engine if he left them in for a little bit.

another question to ask. just wanted to see if the engine would have any power gain with the skunk2 cams&camshaft without degreeing them.(right away but will do when a dyno is found)

so you just put in the skuk2 cams and camshafts with out degreeing them/ tuning them and you got more power gains. by the way what type and stage did you go with (pro, tuner,1-3)?
