Hi the ashtray assembly is $58 at my honda dealership. Can anyone recommend a place online where I can buy this for less? Its about $53 on ebay after shipping. I was hoping for $25.

Looks like $40.98 from Majestic Honda. (Google it)

77710-SR2-A02ZA is the part# for a 94 and 97 Del Sol VTEC. But if your interior isn't "Graphite Black" you may want to drill down on your model. It's part 19 in the "CONSOLE" section.

You'll have to pay shipping & handling on top of that, so you probably won't save a whole lot. You could hold off and try to find a cheaper used part on eBay. Or, if you're not in the rust belt, you might find a junked Sol in a yard.

As for other sites... there's HondaPartsDeals and San Leandro Honda Parts. Can't remember any other Honda dealerships off the top of my head (well, there's a couple Acura dealerships too).

there all black, with the exception of the motegi edition.

call around junkyards, thats how i got mine

 

no 94 is graphite black

The EPC says all USDM del Sol interiors are Type D - Graphite Black.

Here's what I've collected from the EPC and matched together.

Well, interiors may have been all listed as Graphite Black, but some interior pieces had different color accents for 92-95.

Door handles, for instance, were actually a medium grey (Excel Charcoal, maybe?) for some trims. But I agree the ashtray should still be Graphite Black regardless since I've never seen an complete interior in that medium grey color. The guy could (and should) easily confirm what's correct by digging down using his year/model/trim.

The only reason I know interiors are different between 92-95 & 96-97 is because I bought a 92-95 door handle off eBay. The color was "off" in the auction picture, thought it was just a bright flash, then I learned. On 96-97 everything except the A pillars, visors, & the forward trim are graphite black. But 92-95s are different. And I confirmed this by digging down on the dealer site for 92-95 parts.
