Checking ABS on 1993 Civic EX?

Is it an EX 2-door or an EX 4-door?
If it's a 4-door, it has ABS standard, so you need the ABS-specific axles.
If it's a 2-door, then you don't need ABS-specific axles because ABS wasn't introduced on EX 2-doors until 1994 (and even then, it was optional). However, you can still use an ABS axle on your non-ABS car - the only difference is the addition of the toothed ABS ring for the Hall-effect wheel speed sensor.
As far as VTEC or non-VTEC, it depends on what VTEC is a criterion for selecting (trim level, ABS, etc.). I'd have to see the application to determine why they are using it.
