I haven't been on HT in forever, had to make a new name.

I now drive a 2003 v6 accord coupe, a little bit different from the b18b nitrous civic

My car just started making this noise. It is under acceleration at 1900-2000 RPM. It sounds like something metal is vibrating, only last for a second and then its gone. It doesn't happen when I barely accelerate. The car drives like it always has.

Any ideas?

 

Heat shield? Mine does this at about 1500 rpm. Does it sound like a metallic rattle?

 

Have you seened all the screws properly as it might be possible that one of then may be remained loose .

 

Yeah my first thought was a heat shield. I will try and figure out exactly where it is coming from.
