Default fog light switch and type r headlights for my integ....need some help

Im trying to set up my type r headlights on my 99 integ. Im still a little confused about the set up of the lights. Ive seen pics with many different set ups and made up my mind which way I want them to light up. Heres my question though...

I was told in order to install the foglight switch, I replace it with the cruise control switch. Is this true? and if it is am I going to lose my cruise control function by installing the foglight switch?

If Im not mistaken, the two middle lights of the headlights are in fact the foglights? I know noobe question. sorry. any sarcastic remarks would be appreciated in smileys. thanks. lol

That's what I did with my Saturn. I did that because I never used CC. I do think it's possible to keep your CC function, but it would be set up as to where if your CC is on, your lights are on, if it's off, they're off. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this.

I would just install another switch somewhere. Get them at radio shack for a buck.

I was thinking of getting another switch if it did in fact get rid of my CC. Orrrrr can I install that foglight switch some place else? The button just looks so pretty to go to waste.

You can install the foglight switch anywhere you think it will look nice. I think my brother's '98 Teggy has room on either side of the steering wheel where drilling a place to fit the button would not hurt anything. It's a matter of personal preference.
