Default changing headlights new wire.. please help

my black housing headlights with amber corners came in today for my eg.
my car is in the shop so i cant tell now. but these headlights came with another spot for a light with the plug and wires hanging out just below that actual head light bulb.
i was wondering if this is just cuz the lights are new and what it does and how i wire it?
theres a black and a white wire coming out and its just like changing a headlight where you turn it and theres a spot for a little bulb.
i dont know what bulb to get for it and if i should get it?

and i also wanted to know if i have to take my bumper off to put these new headlights in.

THANKS!!

you could put a bulb there if you want, you will need the bulb sockets. the wiring would got to the corner lamp, and wired to the parking (indicator) light, not the turn signal.
