Default Good Deal?

I am looking into getting a bike and came across an 05 R6. It has 1900 miles on it and has never been dropped, modded, or driven in the rain. The bike has a clean title and is in mint shape. The seller is firm on the price of $5200 and I was wondering if it's a good deal or if I should wait until the winter comes around to get one for even cheaper.

Haha, I'm going to try talking him down to $5000. Any idea on how much bikes usually depreciate during the winter?

I wouldnt say bikes depreciate in the winter, they are just less expensive because many people are fair weather riders and selling it in the winter means dropping the price, but once spring comes back that same bike might be a grand or two more than in winter.

And you should definately pick that bitch up, great deal on a good bike !!

Personally, I think it's a terrible idea to get the R6 as your first bike.

I would love to pick it up my second bike though.

you better jump on that deal, but verify that it hasn't been dropped sometimes the damage is hard to see
I just bought a 04 r1 with 1900 miles for 6500
now is the time to buy

Why is this? It's still a 600.

I think I can handle it coming from my 95 Auto Sentra. Should be cake .

BTW, I got him to go down to 5000$ and he's throwing in a helmet. Just found out that the bike has the fender eliminator kit, integrated LED tails, leather fuel tank cover, and side mount license plate bracket. I am taking a few friends up to inspect the bike, I may also stop by the dealership to have everything checked out. I can't wait!

I would pay the 1500$ more and get your bike if a deal like that ever came around. Not the best bike to learn on, but what the hell...
