timing belt question
loosen the tensioner, use a flathead or something to move the tensioner so the belt is tighter, then tighten the bolt. Make sure the belt isn't tooooo tight. The tensioner is usually on the smooth side of the belt rather than the teeth side, you'll see it, its a smooth circle.
You can buy a tensioner tool to check the tension, it's not called a tensioner tool, I forgot what it's called. To use it you connect it to the longest part of the belt and pull and make sure it's to the engine's specification. Run the engine for a little then go back and check it again and do it 1 more time to be on the safe side. This is optional though, you can also guess and test if the tension is good enough.
Also if the belt isn't giving you any problems, like skipping over the gears then you don't need to tighten it too much, just a little tighter than it was just to be on the safe side.
No idea what the bolt size is, just grab 12, 14, 16, and 17 and one of those should fit.

loosen the tensioner, take off the top cam cover after through the top w/ a coat hanger pull the tensioner upwards and tighten the tensioner and ur done. EASY.
