heres the deal iv been looking for a while for a comptech rear lower tie bar, i just the love the simple clean design, so i made a few posts, contacted a few comptech dealers

thats where i talked with h-t user weaksauce.org since i saw he was a comptech seller

we got to talking about the tie bars, and as we all know they are discontiued
he imformed me he might be able to get ahold of some new itr specific comptech rear lower tie bars, so he asked me to gauge some interest in these bars, if itr owners whould be interested in buying some, not sure if it whould be a group buy type deal or what

just really gauging interest to see if it whould be worth it to follow through with this

Are different colors going to be available?

 

They come in unfinished, blue, and red I think. Hope they'd all be available.

 

While they look cool (I guess), do they really do anything more than the OEM piece? I couldn't see how.

 

id like one but I have the non itr spec one already for the daily

Just lighter is all... not that it matters...

yeah i dont think there will be a big difference in performance, it just looks nice


ill ask weaksauce about the colors, but id assume theyd be availble in the orignal colors

I believe that's a pic of a new, or close to it ITR. Pic taken several years ago... If my memory serves me right.

They offer great prices + fast shipping

so yeah, I'm also down for one lower tie bar

If they said 'Honda' or 'Acura' instead of Comptech they might be kinda cool--or even nothing at all (so that we could stick an ITR decal on there).

Not trying to hate on the part, but it is pure bling--that hardly anyone will see

Didn't Comptech go out of business? How are they still making parts? These guys are like Tupac/Kurt.
