best way to remove waves in door panel?

Default best way to remove waves in door panel?

like title says, after i finished painting my car, it showed up a LOT of waves on the door skins, like most old hondas. whats the best way to make it look smooth again?

block it down with 320 on a long board, prime, block, and spray again.

u mean after laying filler over the entire door skin? or can i use high build primer?

what he means is lay like 4 heavy coats of high build primer on the car... block it down with a long board... prime it again.. block it again.. and again till you get it as straight as you want
but if you have dents you need to body work those

guide coat is your friend...
I also read that longer the board the flatter surface you can achieve. goodluck

I mean, block the painted surface with 320 first(with a long board). If you see bare metal in spots, and there is still shiny painted areas in others you'll need to add a slight amount of top coat, or thick primer to fill them in. A lot of times just the material that's on the car after a paint job is enough to sand out high spots, or to meet lows. If the low areas(shiny paint), aren't that deep and you think primer will fill em, prime the entire panel, and block with 320 again until all the primer sands even. Guide coat works for this step. Its all really quite simple.

its only simple for peeps who have done it more then a few times

give it to me..ill make it str8 as fucc.
