im trying to replace my thermo and i can't for the life of me get the electrical plug that connects to it removed. im afraid to just pull on it, and after trying to pry it with a screw driver and it not budging i decided to consult you guys. if you have any pointers please let me know, i need to do this but dont want to risk f'ing something up. thanks

 

huh, just take the 2 screws out of the thermo housing and remove the thermostat and install new one.

are u pushing on the relace for the clip or what?

 

i was too lazy to go get my haynes last night but im talking about disconnecting the electrical connector fom the ECT switch. i can't seem to just get it off. it looks like it may clip in but i cant find a way to un-clip it. thanks for the reply man.

 

you gotta squezze the socket release clip, then pull it out.

 

i tried for a while. is there a tool that can help me out?
