97 ek with d15b dual vtec sluggish >>!!!HELP!!!<<<
wats up guys i got this motor from my boy it was layin around the shop and decided to throw it in a coupe i had laying around. its a d15b dual vtec, it has the harness that came on it not all the plugs are hooked up, but i have nothing else that will fit those plugs. im running a jumper harness with a po6 i know that comp sucks unless its chipped but my car is sluggish on accelaration. ne one have ne clues on wat i should check?> wat problem i could be having? please nething would help

He probably means 2 stage VTEC....its kinda a given, duh.
You need the computer from that motor. HX ECU would give you the VTEC-E, but no VTEC, and vice-versa witha EX ECU.
With a P06 you have niether VTEC on that motor.

i ran a obd2 vtec comp and the car ran like crap. i have to run obd1 . i tried a p28 and still ran slow, evryone i know is telling me to boost it and then reprogram, should i just wait till boost to reprogram? or screw it and drop a dually in it and call it a day?
