Ok heres the deal i have a 94 gsr swap in my eg hatch. ive put around 10k on the swap. id "did" run really smooth. Didn't smoke or burn oil, infact the oil was always clean.
First problem was that the car had no pickup when accelorating until 6k (even when vtec kicked in @ 4.5k) and it really halled *** all the way up to redline... i had the same setup a few years back (i.e. gsr in a eg cx hatch) and it seemed like it had more midrange and low end.
second off i put on a new intake manifold about 2 months ago. along with a new hondata intake mannifold gasket and it "seems like" its been smoking ever since. now i did a compression check and the all cylinder read 210 across the board???
heres whats happening: lets say i go around 80mph the let off the gas and coast down to around 60mph the press the gas again lightly or hard and a puff of smoke lets out... looks blue and seems to be oil. somehow its getting into the combustion chamber or atleast thats what i think. and when accelerating it only does it in the high rpms. wft? any opinions on what it might be?
My personal opinion is vavle seals but the again it seemed to do it all of a sudden not just over a years worth of time. THANKS

yeah me also but it really just seemed to happen all of a sudden like in a month period?

if your sure its oil then id say it is probably a valve seal.
however, i have heard of coolant entering the number 4 runner on the intake manifold with the hondata intake manifold gasket.

False. Leakdown test the holding pressure of the cylinder with all the valves close, therefore, the seals are not even exposed to the cylinder pressures. Easiest way to check valve seals without pulling head is to remove manifolds ( I&E) and look in at the valve stems and the back of the valves. If they are "wet" looking, thats prolly your culprit.
And to the OP - I also suspect valve seals. The symptoms you described are a usual indication of seals.
One question, does it smoke @ start up? If so, could also be oil control rings.
