when i bought my 99 prelude, came with a CF hood already on it. but the dumb *** drilled holes in it for hood pins(which looked horrible). also, the hood is kinda warped on the driver side and does not site right at all. i was told that it is probably a 'cheaper' CF hood. i'm looking to buy another one, and was wondering which brand/make etc would fit perfectly like a normal hood???

 

well he put the hood pins for safety its always a good idea to have hood pins with cf hoods. people have good and bad luck with all of them. seibon and vis are the most popular

 

i would put the hood pins back in, but it sits so damn high! that and the hood is warped so its pointless. i'll take my chances w/out them.

 

if the hood is already fucked, try and fix it what are your out? mine was warped, take a cutting wheel and carfully notch the skeleton,add wheight till it sits good and refiber glass where you cut.

 

i'm not familiar w/auto body work. i'll end up ******* it up.

 

my VIS fits good but nothing is going to fit like OEM
