are the center cast or aluminum? can it be polished or have to be chrome dipped? thanks in advance.

i believe ssr claimed the faces were forged and the faces were originally chrome plated.. u can get all the faces dipped then get em chromed again or polished but i prefer chrome because full polish can be hard to maintain w/ o a nice clear coat on top

 

you may have the ex-c fins though...those were made w/ white or machined inserts between the spokes..some pics would help

yes.. that is correct..the super fins/mesh were chrome faced...if you want to refinish the face they will need to be separated from the lips then sandblasted and/or chemically dipped then either have em re chromed or you can polish them out.
