I need a b16 cable tranny and have no clue where I could possibly purchase one from. I called HMO and they told me that they do not part the cable trannys. Any advice would be good.

 

Good luck finding a cable tranny, they're becoming scarce. i blew a hole in mine when it was coupled to my B16A3 and haven't been able to find a replacement yet. my dad did find a cable tranny but it has a different speedo connection to it, i'm not sure what though. let you know more when i figure it out.

 

I do have a nearly perfect ys1 LS tranny in with a b18c currently, but wanted the b16 tranny for faster times.

If it becomes nearly impossible to find a cable b16 trans in good running order, i'll either get a cable to hydro swap and hydro b16 trans or just leave it as is and save the money towards an S2000.

 

you might be better off rebuilding what you have or picking up a 92-93 tranny. i hear the gearsets are interchangable

the only thing with that is I can't have down time, this is my only daily driver.
