My trip: Sydney International Motorshow. (some non-Honda content)
So! My week in Sydney.
The weather was as nice as Sydney weather gets, which is still shitty. Stifling hot then cold 10 minutes later. But the blue sky's let me get a nice shot of Darling Harbor.

And so i make my way into the Sydney International Motorshow and was instantly drawn to this:

Unlike most years they usually have a flagship car on a stand that noone can get near, so i assumed that the TypeR would be nominated for that stand. But no, not only was it not on a stand, it was also unlocked!

I swear one day i will own one of these, i loved how comfortable they are to sit in. And for some reason they look 100x better in person? Dunno why:

Yeah my camera is ghey.

Some randoms of the Honda stand:

The new EVO which is awesomely hot. Although the *** needs getting used to.. It has slanty tail lights.. Like its melting or something.

Good thing the front is so hot though

And i think Subaru was worried about Mitsubishi stealing all their hype over the new and extremely boring wrx. ( I didnt even take pictures of it, because it didnt really look all that much different to the regular base model). So instead i took pictures of the concept WRC car. The wheels where covered behind the spokes to either disguise the brakes, or hide the fact that it didnt have any. Ditto with the interior.

Suzuki's new WRC car:

This thing's front end is angry as fawk:

And unfortunately this one was locked. I wouldnt be surprised if the door handles stopped working on this thing, everybody tried to open it atleast five times.... (including me)

And the odd highlight of the trip, some extremely beatup imported EF lol. I actually stopped on a busy road, then chucked an illegal U turn to make the shot. Shame, because it has a huge dent in the side, and bumper is crushed in on the passengers side.

Some old lady reversed into my car as well. The first accident i ever had in fact. She was old + huge 4wd clearly couldnt see my (LUCKILY) rented car. What are the chances though? Ive been driving for a few years, i daily drive my imported civic, and the couple of days im driving someone elses car someone decides to run into me...
Even though i was on the horn she just kept on creeping backwards. I had thrown it in reverse but the car took so long to engage that she was already on the hood (and still going) lol.
Ofcourse, she got out and attempted to deny that she:
1) Hit anything and
2) had caused ALL of the damage and
3) was in fault, because i'm a hooligan teenager.
She tried to explain that the rest of my hood was clearly crushed before she rammed me. I told her that if she had taken so much notice how come she still hit me
And that was my trip

The problem with the X is the front end, in my opinion. That huge gaping snout looks out of place. It reminds of me fish out of water.
