Default 98 to 2000 front end conversion

like it says i converted my 98 4 door front to a 2000 but there were two brackets sticking out underneath the top of the radiator support where the 98 bumper attatched. the new bumper and grill wouldn't bolt up b/c of those brackets so i cut them, but now im not sure if i should of b/c the part of the bumper that wraps around the lights is sinking in b/c there is nothing to support it.......help!!!!

You can either cut/grind those tabs or you can notch out the bumper where those tabs would go.

I don't remember there being any issues when I had my 99-00 front end on.. I think i drilled into those tabs so i can place a plug in i think.. it was so long ago I don't even remeber..

i have figured out how to fix this problem.

when I was putting the bumper in (2000 into 98) the top 2 bumper tab does not fit in.

So i take it out and cut a gap in the vertical thing right under the tabs. this should fit right in.
