Default Problems and no answers!

It's been a few frustrating weeks and months. Since the accident of the beginning of August I've had nothing but problems with my car. I got it back from the body shop after sitting there for three weeks. The day i got it back i knew something was wrong well because the exhaust was real loud on top of that there was an engine mount broke as well as the CV joint on the side of impact that they replaced already messed up. So a few weeks (mid sept) got those things taken care of, they even fixed the motor mount but the tech says that he doesn't think it's accident related. Well now, I was having this clicking noise that sounded like it was coming from the trans, as well as the engine and the sub-cradle are misaligned (appt for the engine and cradle alignment slated for thursday to be fixed).

Anyways back to that clicking noise. Come to find out it's the left half shaft on the drivers side, not the side of impact that is messing up. No big deal right? It's still under warranty so it'd be just a matter of making that appointment. Nope, the dealership that I go to said that it's an aftermarket part and isn't covered under new warranty. No where in any of my paperwork is that part listed for fixing except to say the right side. I know for a fact that I didn't take it anywhere else to have it fixed and assumed that I had all Honda parts under my metal. So now i'm looking at a $500 repair job that shouldn't be on my shoulders. They say it's not accident related but nothng was wrong before the accident and have paperwork to prove it because i had one of the services done where there was an inspection! So now i'm wondering if there was something wrong w/my car or something happened a) on the line and had to go aftermarket or b)maybe an accident as there was about 170 miles when i got it before I started the lease. Yep on a lease so thats why i have to go genuine honda parts and why i've only taken it to the one dealership.

I just need some ideas of where i can go to find out the answers of whats up with my car because something is not matching up here. I have the lists of all parts replaced as well as a full service record.

here you go
choose your state (because it varies)and answer the questions

http://www.lemonlawamerica.com/

(lemon laws and different variations)
"What is a Lemon?
A vehicle that continues to have a defect that substantially impairs its use, value, or safety. Generally, if the car has been repaired 4 or more times for the same Defect within the Warranty Period and the Defect has not been fixed, the car qualifies as a Lemon. All States differ so you should consult the Lemon Law Summary and the State Statutes for your particular State. Note that the warranty period may or may not coincide with the Manufacturer's Warranty. The fixing of your car was done through insurance? or did you pay out of pocket?

If it was done through the insurance, all you do is call them and say that the work was not properly done and there were things that the adjuster must have missed and the dealership is giving you issues.

And they will send another adjuster out to verify.

k lemme clear up my muddle thoughts really quick first cuz none of you guys seem to even get the gist of my post.

1) The problem I'm having is with the Left Half shaft on the drivers side. The car was hit on the right front axle... (I got pictures in another post somewhere)
2)That part wasn't fixed at any time since I had the car as nothing was wrong with the car beforehand (inspection 2 mos prior to accident stating so otherwise it would have been taken care of then and there)
3) So my stealership was trying to say the part that is on there is an aftermarket part so I'm like wtf? Last i knew it should have been OEM.

Answer of questions now:

won't fall under lemon law...
1) had the car for over a year now
2) involved in accident

You were pretty much the one that got the gist of it.... So what the stealership is trying to say is that I basically had an aftermarket part put on a car when it would have fallen under warranty... the car isn't modded at all to begin with

So I asked well did something happen BEFORE i bought it as in an accident and aftermarket was put on...the guy said they'd but OEM part on either way. next thought was well maybe the body shop ate the cost (why they would do that i have no clue as it's being paid by insurance) and they didn't even touch it.

So i took it in for the alignment today, and while they had it on hoist they checked to see if it was factory part or not and it sure is.... further looking into the paperwork (considering the right one had to be replaced) they had called a few parts places, none had aftermarket available as there is no aftermarket parts made. So i did a little bit of research got into my copy of the estimate, called the part shops myself to get a price and all said the same thing:

there is no aftermarket part made, only available from the dealr so to the stealership you didn't scam me! total

sorry for the long post, i just figured I'd clue u guys in
