N-E-Way, I have some neighbors who hang out and do nothing on the weekend.
However, the like to run there cars up and down the street all day long......

One in particular drives a 1.8T passat.........5 inch tach on the dash.....annoying exhaust......no matter what though he never fails to do one thing.

REV his engine to redline before shutting it off I am so pissed at this guy everytime he does it.....I have even told him that it is bad and he still does it.

 

My friend punches his cars throttle everytime he drives by my house. He has a VR6 jetta with an intake...and let me tell you, his intake is as loud as many exhuasts...but it does sound cool.

 

I only mind when they are running the cars up and down the street at 1:30 am.

But, the fact that he is destroying his turbo is irritating to me.

 

Don't worry... if he keeps that up, he won't have a running motor to do it to eventually... LOL

 

i know what you mean, man. got this annoying *** neighbor down the street that drives up and down the street and the exhaust on that integ is annoying the shiet out of me. this has been happening for a few years now.

 

I think some fools love to irritate people with their exhaust noise. Too many fools around her ehave otherwise stock cars with the fart can sounding exhaust. It makes no sense to me, other than they WANT to annoy others.

 

I have a neighbor with a silver 4dr GS, who ever since he got his intake on has ALWAYS felt the urge to floor his car infront of me house when he leaves or is comming in.. "fear the mighty stock B18B"

 

Eminem next door always bumping his Kmart sound system.

 

There was this red 92-95 Prelude with an intake that kept revving around town last night. Too bad I never got a chance to pull up next to him and blow off my HKS in his ear LOL.

 

Heres how you cure these idiots, get a huge funnel and some fairly large tubing Like a beer bong. Stick it in his exhaust pipe and pour cement in it one night. Won't be running all that well the next morning.

 

Got a lot of those here... I hate that! I like the jackarses who pull up to the gas station with it just freekin blaring! Do they not realize how big of jackasses they are making themselves look? Even the guys like me who appreciate a nicely done stereo system just shake our heads.

 

when they fall asleep, crawl under neath their cars and loosen their exhaust bolts at the downpipe/cat. it will be loud, but it will be funny when a cop pulls them over and writes them a $400 ticket

 

Nah, I like taking a high power cordless drill to their muffler. My thinking is, as bad as it sounds now, this could only make it sound better!! ROFL!
Then they have the blue and red lights flashing in their rear view hehe!

 

yah i hate peeps like that. There's a guy in my neighbour hood with an LS teg and couple mods here and there... he dunno what he doing really. ALWAYS whenever I'm outside workin on my car or walking my dog for that matter... always revvs at me. OOOOOH I soooo can't wait to get this turbo **** done... I'll give him a nice sound to listen to BTW. Can anyone help me out? I need a turbo then I can have the manifold and piping made... that's all that's left

I might be selling my IHI RHB52 turbo....maybe....if you are interested let me know....I am trying to get the compressor maps for it right now....

 

yah sorry i saw ur reply i just forgot that u offered it to me. Yah I need to find out the specs too. How much did you want for it anyway?

 

Not sure how much...got to check with the prev owner to see what he did to it....I know he cleaned it up some and changed some stuff I think he changed the bushings (bearings?) and the seals but I will check for sure....I have a manifold for it as well but I would get it rewelded before using it....
