91 int. GS wnt start
ok so i basically got a 91 integra from a friend for free.. it was jus parked infront of his house.. its an automatic.. i drove it home and did a oil change and tune up since it was sittin for a while.. drove good for a month or so.. now sometimes i go to start it and its tryng to start but wnt start but sometimes it does start and drives good for a day or 2 and den it will stop starting agian... starter is good cuz we used the by-pass gun and it still wnt start.. i have a feeling its the fuel pump. but wuld it still let it start sumtimes and not start other times?
where is the main relay? im not really familiar wit the older hondas.. also i knw the fuel pump for my 00 si is under the rear seat.. for the 91 is it under the seat or do i have to remove the gas tank? i believe it is gas tank..
you could also try a little starting fluid next time it wont start. if it starts then you know your not getting fuel.but check that main relay had the same thing happen to a 94 lude relay was bad but still worked once in a while

So when it "won't start" it will not turn over or anything? If that is the case it is probably the ignition switch. However, I think I am just misunderstanding the sentence in bold and it is cranking over fine.
Big second on the main relay. I have seen many many of them fail, especially on DAs.
The main relay is under the dash left of the steering column. It is a gray box with, I believe, 5 wires going to it. When are having trouble with the car starting do this: Turn the radio all the way down. Cycle the key to the off position, and then to the on position. You should here an audible click as the dummy lights turn off. This click is the main relay finishing with fuel pump priming. If you do not here this click, your main relay is getting flaky. Higher temperatures seem to make failures more pronounced.
