Eastern NC Type R spotting
PY heading to Washington Saturday afternoon. Turbo, dark wheels.
Possibly one of the Greenville guys? I used to know one or two in town, back when Mrs. Splat was at ECU.

A week or two after I bought mine (a 2000 on 12/13/99), I ran across a PY on I-40 in Raleigh. We were headed in the same direction, and both just about ****. We ended up pacing for a minute or two, swerving all over the place as we tried to holler to each other the badge numbers
Turns out it was Shawn Whipple, a local autocrosser, who had recently picked up his as well. I actually sat in his car at the dealership - they had it in the garage while he was still in the negotiation process.

Yeah i have talked with the guy with the turbo itr in lil washington. He said he got the car from hickory NC, and wouldnt share his setup. Car was very clean.
Few weekends ago, I spotted a FBP ITR with surf racks in Emerald Isle, NC, anyone know who that may have been?

We used to know a PY from Hickory. I think his name was Richard maybe? Car was either stock or with mild bolt-ons back in the day. Did the BC guy mention if he bought it with the snail?

I see one or two driving around Wilmington every couple of days (mainly Jordan), Type-R' s around this area seem to be more abundant than Ferrari's and Lambo's.

Yeah I own #1492 now, The one in new bern that Timmybilt is talking about. I have seen that turbo'd one around once or twice myself. I havent had a chance to talk to him. its kinda wierd to be trolling and seeing mention of my car.
Tim get up with me later. I need to talk to you about a proposed new project once I sell the truck.
