Hey there Honda-Tech. The crank angle sensor on my dizzy messed up which caused my motor to sputter. I replaced the dizzy and now my car runs fine with no check engine light, But anywhere from 2,000 RPM's and lower my motor will sputter. Is it the timing that may be off? I want to fix it because it sputters when step on it slightly at low RPM's. Please let me know what i can do to fix this! Thanks again.

I don't think its a vacuum leak. My motor sputters like it's out of timing and it loses power. My motor also idles to 1500 RPM's and then drops which is my sensor but thats another issue too haha!

no not yet. I was wondering what number i have to set the timing gun to on a SOHC d16 on my 88 Si. My friends told me that it might have jumped a tooth but the belt does not seem loose enough to do it...

ones are 2 deg advanced and 2 deg retarded. should be 16 to 18 deg advanced.
Also under the hood there is a sticker that tells you what the stock setting should be.
