Default Vehicle shaking on acceleration 75+ mph

As title states, my car shakes when im acceleraring past 75 mph to about 95 mph. Its not the steering wheel, it seems to be the whole car. I get alot of creeking and shaking noises. I just had the wheels balanced and car aligned, but still does it. Could it be the tires?? my tires are worn and i know i need knew ones just havent got the money to replace tires. your thinking why you balance tires for? well i work at a autoshop and i can do those things for free so, i just did it for the hell of it.

Could it be lose suspension bolt? TireS? wheel balance?Or just the car is old?? I just recently hit the 200,000 mile mark( lame).

let me know guys!

Get under there and check all suspension components. And yes shitty tires will cause vibration .

Check your suspension. Mainly balljoints. And check that all the bolts/nuts are right.

the bearings are bad easy way to check jack the car up and if you can wigle the tires just a little bit they are bad. ball joints could also or last thing tires are not balanced but that you feel going over 55

I'm having a similar problem with my Lude (w/140,000 miles). I just had new tires put on and they were balanced. Was thinking of taking it back to the tire place to have them balance it again... but I rotated the tires from front to back and it does the exact same thing (what are the chances all four tires were not balanced correctly?!). I recently had a wheel bearing replaced in the rear, they didn't say that any others needed to be replaced. Anyhow, interested to see what remedy the OP will discover...

ok i manger for a tire warehouse and if they dont have a road force most time the tires wont balance. Also wheels will throw weighs if you hit a pot hole bumps or if you burn out.

They don't always get the wheel balance right the first time. I had to take our 4Runner back 3 times when we got a set of Yokohama's once. Make sure they have Hunter balancing machine.

forget hunter machines. it could also be your axles. even if they dont click, they could still be broken and would cause a vibration on acceleration. or just slow down lol

I am having a similar problem, but the problem is only coming from the driver side rear at speeds above 45 mph. I thought is was the bumper, so I tightened it and there was no change. When my bearings were bad I heard at all times. My car is lowered 2.5 inches so I was also thinking the tires we rubbing.

Dude I had that **** like 2 weeks ago, I had a bad inner axle, so I replaced my axle and ordered a intermediate shaft with bearing. LIKE BUTTER 120mph and still smooth

check to see if tires are cupping.

i dont think it would be the motor mount. normally a motor mount will cause your car to vibrate if you have it in gear and sitting in idle.

blown shocks? hmm come to think of it it cant be shocks or else oyu would be feeling it on turns and bumps.

have you messed with your timing?

i had a friend who had a 4 runner and her timing was off. and at low speeds the car was struggling while vibrating pretty hard until 50mph. once she got the timing fixed by messing with the cam gears the car ran well again

good luck man

Do all four of your tires have the same tread?

What steps should someone take before taking their car to the shop to check out this problem?
