Oil pan question
Check at places like slhondaprts.com or hondaautomotiveparts.com, the base and SH have the same pan.

this is true, i found this out when i ordered a steel bung to weld on and then, of course, i ended up needing an aluminum one on my original 5th gen motor.

Also, as far as installation of the pan goes, you only need to use a silicon seal for the 5th gen pan and not the gasket used on the 4th gen (just in case you're wondering that when you put it on).
