turbo Q's and turbo'd em2 post here
ok im planing on boosting my ex 02 em2. im keeping the engine stock and plan on getting a turbo-kits.com turbo kit for 2800 and will make 164 whp on 5 psi. is this a good idea and can all the boosted em2's post here so i know who to ask about problems that might come around.its a manual tranny
after being boosted for 2 years, going through a head gasket, now a spun rod bearing and tons of money invested...all i can say to you is..expect to blow **** up regularly.
oh, and "kits" are a good starting point, but if you want to go all out, it's a waste of money, because chances are, the more power you make, the more of the parts your kit came with youll want to change out. IE piggy backs for full stand alones, small injectors for larger injectors, etc. so in the end all youre usually left with of the original setup is the turbo (unless you go bigger), manifold(sometimes), intercooler and charge pipes.
