Default Need Part ASAP...what is faster shipping!!!

To make a long story short, I ordered 2 Ex mani gaskets from my local honda dealer a week and a half a go. I went in yesterday(their arrival date)...guy tells me they are backordered! Won't be in till "early" next week.

Problem: Used old ex mani gasket...leaking pretty bad. I have hondata tuning appointment 330 miles away next Wensday. I have to have a gasket BY TUESDAY. Trailering car to tuner.

Question: I can order one from hondaautomotiveparts.com, either 2day UPS, or 2-3 Day priority mail are the fastest shipping they offer. Which should I use????

Did you try another Honda dealer? Around me, there are about 5 Honda dealerships in a 30 mile radius.

Lucky you....there aren't that many around here. One may have a gasket in this afternoon, but they aren't sure. The rest say they are special order parts and don't have any.

Napa, Autozone, Pepboys?

Is there any reason why you have to have an OEM gasket?

Well....I just called napa...they don't even list a part!

I wonder if I asked for a gasket for a Del Sol with the b16a?

B series or D series?

I JUST got a D series gasket from Napa last week.

B series:

D series:

hondaautomotiveparts.com is great, but they are not usually terribly quick. if you decide to try and get it from them, CALL THEM UP and talk to them. i have ordered a grip of parts from them, maybe 10 different orders, and sometimes they ship quickly, sometimes they sit on it for a while, sometimes they have 9/10 parts in stock and hold the entire order waiting for an obscure gasket or seal.

Question: I can order one from hondaautomotiveparts.com, either 2day UPS, or 2-3 Day priority mail are the fastest shipping they offer. Which should I use????

I second this place. They are the cheapest on OEM I've found, and are usually pretty quick. I've ordered LOTS of times from them and never had any problems.

I called hondaautomotiveparts.com. They had one in stock, and it is being shipped out overnight as we speak!

Only 8 bucks for the gasket..but shipping and handleing will probably be in the 20 dollar range.

At least I will have a couple extras when ever they arrive at my local dealer.
