Car sputtering and dieing

So the car now sputters, and when I rev it, it drops to about 400 rpm, and when I'm slowing down from like 80 it will stall when I clutch. Any idea's what could be up?

How much do those ussually run? How certain are you?

well you can test it if you have a multimeter.
If you have a junkyard around you could get it super cheap.

Do you have a helms manual?
