DO NOT DRIVE YOUR CAR ANYMORE
I JUST BLEW MY ENGINE FROM THE SAME PROBLEM

you have a leak in your radiator , or your oil needs changed , OR BOTH

DO NOT DRIVE

how do you know that there is a leak in the radiator? and how does oil changes have to do with a motor overheating?

there are a couple of thing to do first. is your fan turning on? when was the last time you changed the thermostat and/or radiator cap? do you have any leaks?

First check your coolant level, i had a very small pinhole in one of my rad. hoses and most of my coolant vaporized while i was driving so i could not see the leak, since i was running without coolant my car also overheated and i tried to turn on the heater and had the same problem as you, no hot air came out the vents cause there is no hot coolant circulating through the heater core. Go to autozone, they rent out radiator leak kits that will help you identify where your loosing coolant from.

this might be the problem right here. did you release the air from the system? if not, air trapped in the coolant system will cause the car to overheat.

so if you haven't done it already, let the car cool. open the radiator cap, start the car. begin to add coolant until the raditor is topped off. then put back the cap and this should take car of your problem.

^^ Will probably do the trick.

If not, make sure you're not completely dry on oil. You might also try running the car without a thermostat and seeing if it cools down. If so, it may just be a bad thermostat.

i had the same problem but fixed it and now have it again cus i hit something so its leaking and my car overheats now.so check all the hoses touch the hoses to see if it has cracks because i found a little hose that looked okay but had a big gash in it.and listen to that other dont drive your car until you fix it.

honestly dont make the same mistake as me a simple problem that could have cost me 50 dollars to fix end up costing me 2000!!!!

thats because i am extremely lazy i knew the car was over heating , kind of just ignored it until one day i was on the highway blew that engine up but yeah
u could be completely dry on oil or on Coolant
Also check the radiator cap to see if its faulty you could not be getting any suction of out the resevoir.

Did you rent the tool and do a leak check like i told you? Also, did you bleed all the air out when you changed the hose, how's your coolant level?
