The condenser fan on my radiator (94 honda accord lx) does not turn on when i turn my AC on. Is it possible to check the connector going to the fan with a multimeter to verify the motor on the fan is dead and not the connection?

 

Sure, that's exactly what you should do. You'll want to check whether it's an open ground vs. a non-working hot lead.

 

Wire the fan straight to the battery and see if it cuts on

If not it's toast

 

dont overlook the easy! start with the fuse, then work your way to the harder stuff.

 

does you a/c compressor kick in? is there a leak? is there freon in there? pressure too high....too low? does the a/c get cold?

we definitely need more to go on.

 

The AC kicks on but its not as cold as it used to be. I will try to hook the fan straight to the battery.
