I could get most of that out for you without any "mud" or paint work. If it were my car, I would straighten the panel as best as physicaly possible, then add a light coat of filler. Or you could pay someone to remove the quarter, and have water leak issues, noises, future rust problems.....but hey you dont want any "bondo" right? j/k
bondo causes all of the things you just mentioned. flaking chipping rust in addition hedious orange peel i mean damn one step forward 10 steps back. so this car will never be perfect by replacing the panel. how much for custom carbon fiber panel?
insurance only qouted me 1300 im going to get second and third opinions. not my insurance by the way damn those 17 year old girls making crazy uturns

Mud does not cause rust water leaks paint chips or anything you described. Improper prep of the surface causes that. Water leaks are something else. Orange peal comes from the way the clear is layed down. And when replacing a quarter panel the last thing a shop should do is check for water leaks and road test to make sure that there are no wind noises or any other noises.
If it were my car I would get it fixed instead of replaced. If you put a new quarter on you would still need mud on the car LOL. These aint old cars were the metal is thick. It is paper thin. There is no way to get any of that straight without some type of filler.

hmmm, elaborate a little. Did you replace or repair the quarter panel? Or are you using lead.

If you know everything about body work, why are you asking questions? I've been doing auto body professionally for many years now, and guarantee all of my straightening work(unless it cracked because you hit something).
It's the furthest thing from ten steps back, and it's a lot cheaper. Do what you want though.

i posted for advice. I am not trying to be a smart ***. I have seen a fiberglass bondo mixture do ok but still chip. I just want this sucker fixed right. if it was your car what would you do. id like to sell it and get a clean slate. I duno it sucks my em1 always gets abused by others. i know there are issues with replacing a whole rear fender noise issues and leakage problems. but if its done correctly isnt it better then filler?

Congrats. The rage gold you used is a very nice filler, and would be more than adequate to repair his quarter panel. After the sheetmetal is worked out by hand to the desired shape, than only a thin coat of filler(rage) needs to be layed on to fill any low areas. Sand starting with coarse grit, ending with 320-400 then prime.
Im curious. Do you do bodywork for a living? I'm not on here to be a smart ***, but to give my professional opinion on many different types of repairs.

I would spend about 5 hours straightening it. The panel is not that bad, and if the proper steps are taken when using mud(bodyshop talk for filler, bondo...) you won't have any problems. Not to mention the money you will save.

i dont do it for a living. i had a friend who did and weve spot painted and got out dents before. around the fender is where it has cracked before. we used this stuff called bulldog to make everything stick better. we also mixed a bondo and fiber glass resin together to increase the strength of the mud. if you look real close you can see the bondo under the paint. i mean most people couldnt see it but i can.
