So after overheating the car this weekend even with the heat on, on a COLD/Windy night........i decided i ought to do a few things!

First was the thermostat (which i'd replaced with an OEM Honda one last year)
Turned out that was the cause of my overheating, but while buying the new one from Autozone, i purchased a compression tester as well since i don't have one.

D16z6 + t25, about 30k since headgasket change and about 25k worth of boost.

Readings (did each cyl. twice) :

#1 160,160
#2 150,150
#3 150,155
#4 160,165

Nothing seems out of the ordinary, but with 2 mating cylinders at lower compression than the others, should i start being concerned?

Also, i found no concrete numbers on what i "should" be reading? I just kept finding percentages. i.e. - If one cyl. is 20% lower than the others bla bla bla"

Ck your coolant level.

ck your coolant sensor, and thermostat, and ur good to go.

shouldnt of overheated on a cold night, unless something is clogged (tstat) or malfunctioning (sensor)

Ya, i changed the thermostat and i havn't overheated as of yet.

Bought a Failsafe t-stat, which stays Open when it fails instead of closing.
