B18A made it's USDM debut in 1990 as the B18A1 found in the Acura Integra RS/LS/GS and remained until 1994 when Honda/Acura released the B18B1 for the 94-95 Acura Integra RS/LS.

ok cool man thanks. im getting a swap in my 91 crx and i was just wondering cause i know the b18c is the gsr but couldnt make the connection. is there anything major that the b18b has over the b18a that would be make one a better buy over the other?

The 18a/b are nothing like the C least in the head, use the search if you really want the nitty gritty on what's differnce.
