sohc with jrsc
i couldnt find a thread on this from the search, so i was wondering if there is a thread on the people who have the setup wheather its stock with just the jrsc or what else people have done to it and what kind of #'s and times you guys have? and do you guys use it for drag racing because i heard there not the best for that? any pics would be cool to
but the jrsc is more reliable than a turbo and i think it would be a little cheaper to go this way because you can find them for around $850 and there isnt as much hastle as with a turbo

Depends on if the turbo is an ebay special or not. Volvo and Mitsubishi turbochargers can last a very long time.
The gains of a blower on a 1.6 or even a 2.0 is not gonna justify the pricetag. The Cobalt SS and TRD blower for the VVT-i Toyota's are not very impressive, a GSR Civic will hang, if not walk away from them. Home made turbo kits can be made for around that same price, and depending on how in depth you go.

Don't superchargers really do their stuff at the low-mid range of the power band?</TD></TR></TABLE>
yeah, that's the main pupose of a supercharger....but the fact is that if you do your research and don't get an oversized turbo, then you can direct it towards more low-end power. If you ask me, that's more practical for daily driving purposes.
