This is a nice looking NSX!! Lots of carbon fiber but having problems on the track.

VIDEO NOT AVAILABLE!! Sorry!

One of the main question I got asked at the track by some few HONDA enthusiast.
Does your motor gets very hot with the turbo in it? NO! Temp was on the normal side.

Thunderhill is a badass track!

I ran it many times in my go kart before they finished the rear section. I only ran the large track once and it lasted about 2 laps because of rain.

I wanna get my CRX out there eventually and see how different it feels from my kart.

It sure is a fun track Sonny. Lots of blind spots. You don't know where the road is.

Thunderhill is fun, but I think Sears Point reigns king. If you ever get a chance to drive there, DO IT! It doesn't have nearly as much run-off as Thunderhill, so be careful. I'll be there again this year in November. I'm anxious to drive the new turn 11.

I wanna try Laguna Seca. But it cost too damn much. There's one in July which I believe a Lotus club is organizing it. I was invited by somebody yesterday @ thunderhill but we'll see if I can take a dayoff on that day. Enjoy!

It's up north of Sac. about an hour or so away. It took us 1 1/2 from concord to Thunderhill and that's an average speed of about 95mph. We left at dawn and barely any cars around. The guy I met with was from san jose or somethin, so add another 1/2 hour to that.

Wooha! I just found out that the Blue E46 M3 hit the wall. It spun a few times yesterday and that would've gave the driver a little bit of thinking on how to change his driving techniques but I guess that never happened. That car is now a total waste. Hope to find that pix.

I haven't really heard much about road racing on this forum. I know some are out there but never said anything.

Also, definitely upgrade those CX brakes of yours. A GSR brake kit will do.

Just the intercooler. An oil cooler would be nice though just to be safe.

No. This was setup by speedventures which was originally setup for an international HONDA S2K challenge but was cancelled and had it a universal race instead. Look for clubs that goes to road courses because they are not about competition, it's all about fun.

$155

Average time each lap is about 2 minutes and 20-30 seconds

On the main straights, about 100-110 mph. On a 90 degree turn... about 40-50mph

what was that in front of you a Toyota Matrix? Im glad to see you finally passed it.
lol.. that's a WRX wagon. You can only pass at certain areas. No passing on turns.

Art! You'll enjoy it man. It's even funner rather than going into an amusement park with only a few seconds of seat time. I almost had motion sickness when an instructor took me for a spin on his S2K to give me some pointers and I had to tell him to drop me off at the pits after 3 laps.
