Default Swap Clutch, DOESN'T WORK HELP !!

Okay, i did everything RIGHT, i am sure

The problem is:
1) I don't have to step on my clutch to shift, no grinding, no sounds, very smooth
2) The car DOES NOT MOVE
3) There is nothng happening when i release my clutch

i found out:
1) MAYBE i got a wrong street disc, so that the trannmission shaft is not in contact with the disc
2) this is what my uncle says, maybe the slave cylinder is all rust out, not working, i need to check this out tomorrow

here is a picture of the street disc

it's a 93 civic EX, i got ACT extreme pressure plate and street disc

please help, god.. i have put everything back, and it's not working !! help please !

you have 2 things to do
1) bleed the clutch
2) if that dosent work. you must drop the tranny.
did you cover the bearing with grease? what about the shaft?

does your pedal have pressure behind it?

edit: one more thing, get a friend for this. have him step on the clutch, push on the rubber boot over the slave cylinder, see if it moves.

yeah, since you have a smooth engagement, I would say that the same too, because the act extreme clutches are not none for smooth engagement, you would need to effort to press the clutch in.

does the clutch pedal even come back up? and did u accidentally push down on the clutch pedal while the slave cylinder wasnt connected to the tranny? if the pedal doesnt come back up and u did everything correctly like u said, most likely need to bleed slave cylinder, or at worst replace it

Try putting it in another gear and seeing if the clutch grabs...

My friend broke a shifting fork while parking, (didnt make any noise), after that his car would feel like it would go into gear, but just rev... 1st or 2nd gear. Jus t a thought.

it does work in ALL gears... without stepping on the clutch

i am going to check out the slave cylinder and see if there is a probem with it

do i need an adjustment after the swap???

the car is running when you try and put it in gear right?
because you can put it in gear w/o stepping on the clutch when the engine is off (just covering the basics so you dont have to drop the tranny)

SHHHHHIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTT MAN...

this really sucks, i dropped out my tranny, u know what the problem is??
like my uncle said, I GOT A WRONG STREET DISC !!!

this guy's email is phorbo007@hotmail.com, he was selling it on ebay, but i didn't win, let me tell u the full story

i emailed him and ask him why he is selling on ebay and would it fit my D16, and he replied and said YES it will fit, I am selling because i swapped out for a B series, well i said OKay, then i keep on bidding on the VERY last min of the auction
but somebody else was bidding ( i don't know who)
THEN right after the auction ends, this guy emailed me and said "WOW you almost got it, but you know what, i got another set for 320 bucks" then i replied and said i want it 300 shipped, and he said OKAY
it's already not making sense man, my stock civic disc has 4 "springs" on the disc, and this disc has 6 "springs" which car is it for?? the hole on the street disc is BIGGER....

I emailed that guy, and hopefully he will get back to me, he has like 40 something POSITIVE feedback on ebay, but i am guessing he has TWO ebay accounts.. SUCKER...

Any suggestions on what I should do ?? use the stock disc??

thanks guys...... man.. i am so so so tired, i have my tranny off in 2 hours, hehee..
