Hey guys,

I searched to see this topic but nothing came up.

So I was driving a buddies S2k(ap1) today and put the top down, as it was closing about half way down I heard a snap and the plastic rear window broke in two seperate places.

So my questions are:

Is this a common problem with early s2k's?

Was there a factory recal for this problem?

Anybody that has had this happen what did you do, please don't say replace the whole top.

Your window issue is in there, scroll down to bottom of page

 

from teh sounds of it, it was too cold.. the plastic was still hard when the top was put down.... teh rear section can be replaced or replace the whole thing with a new glass soft top from robbins for AP1's
