Default suspension squeeks

My right rear suspension squeaks when i swapped out my 8" spring to 7" spring. The old springs are rated at 500lb, and the current ones is 350lbs but 7" instead of 8. What could be the cause? Would spraying wd40 in the area help reduce or solve the noise?

My car is as a DC2 integra with koni yellow shocks.

Thanks!

could be bushings. Did you loosen the LCA bolts, raise the suspension up with a jack and then tighten the bolts at ride height? That was my problem when my front UCA was squeaking.

I have a 92 Accord and the front rt suspension speeks also. I tried spraying some WD-40 around it, and it still sounds the same. It's weird, it sqeeks when I push on that corner of the car or if I turn the steering wheel?

No, I didn't do this. Do you do this by simulating load on the suspension with the wheels off with the use of jack, or was this done on a car lift?

use a jack to raise up the suspension and load it.
