question about 3 inch dp fitment

Default question about 3 inch dp fitment

how do u connect the 3 inch flange on the dp to the arm of the turbo which only has a 2 inch flange on it?

Not exactly sure what you are refering to when you say arm, but a flange will usually be bigger to handle a 3" pipe and the flange hole will be 2 1/4, same size as turbo disharge hole.

i mean there is a "pipe" that connects to the turbo and then after that the downpipe connects to that "pipe". My question is how will u get a 3 inch downpipe with a 3 inch flange to connect to that pipe which only has a 2 inch flange. The only solution I can think of is to put a 2 inch flange on the downpipe and flare the downpipe to 3 inch and connect it to the cat.

wouldn't a "pipe" that connects to the turbo be a downpipe?

maybe its called a downpipe also, but right after the turbo there is an arm piece which connects to the downpipe.
