downpipe 3" flange... question?
I see these flanges for sale on ebay. 5 hole flanges with 2.5" openings. If i want to make a 3" dp, would that work? Or would i need a 3" opening flange to weld on. Is there anyone on here that makes pre bent main pieces..then just have to weld little more to them to make them work?

try places like Cheapturbo.com or sr20performance.com, they sell a lot of flanges, you should be able to find one that is 3 inch. A lot of DSM sites may be helpful too for larger flanges.
Keep searching on HT also, others have found them before too.

yeah i have looked at those places, some dont even state the flange size some do...and thats why i was wondering if a 2.5" hole of flange is okay for a 3" downpipe because all i can find is 2.5" or a standard one.

some people use the2.5 flange and have the pipe flare out to 3. I would ave to do this because I still have ac and a 3 inch pipe would never fit in there for me. as long as your running 3 inch exhaust piping too, I don' t see it as a big restriction.
